Have an “Advertise” banner on your blog: This is very important. It should be linked to an advertising page and have an easy way to contact you for more information and rates.
Prepare an ‘About’ section: You must clearly explain who you are and what your blog is about. You need to show why anyone should care about what you have to say.
Show your blog stats: You must show a few basics for your blog’s statical information such as monthly unique visitors and total number of impressions. You can also mention your blog’s Alexa rank and PageRank.
Keep the ads specific to your blog: No need to have gambling ads if your site is about working at home.
Keep your blog professional and on topic:Focus on one core topic, and keep your posts professional. Use Twitter for sharing your daily personal experiences.
Show your potential advertisers the banners:If you currently have no paid placements on your site, put up a few partner ads in the same spot you would run a paid spot.
Put a free advertisement on your site: If you put a free advertisement on your site, you will not only encourage similar ads or competitors to that product, but the company you added for free may decide to advertise with you.
