Blogging has became one of the easiest way to make money from internet now a days.

There area huge number of bloggers online today and most of them dream about making huge profits this is easily achievable with someone of average intelligence and a willingness to learn. The main reason bloggers fail to reap high profits from their efforts is they don’t do enough marketing of their blog. Just as is the case with websites you also need to create numerous inward links to your blog. Having a step by step plan or blueprint to follow can save days or even weeks or trying things that just don’t bring results. The other trap that many bloggers fall into has to do with lack of planning. If you want to turn a profit as a blogger, the key to success is to make a realistic plan and stick with it.

Keyword research is the key to huge traffic, by combining good research with the right incoming links you can reap large numbers of visitors fast. The best tool to use for these purposes that is 100 percent free is the Google keywords external tool for adwords . start with your main phrase you wish to target by entering it into the tool then look for long tail keywords phrases of four or five words. Enter these into Google search and look to see how many competing sites there are. If there is only a few million or less then proceed ahead with that phrase. Use the phrase as part of your url to maximize relevancy.

Now write a good quality post on the phrase you found using related keywords scattered throughout your content and put a link in your blog post using that phrase to your blog then add the phrase as tags. Finally submit the rss feed from your blog using the keyword phrase as anchor text to as many rss directories as possible, there is a link below where you can get a free copy of software that will automate this process for you.

To guarantee success at blogging for profit, the main thing that you will need is a large readership. The higher your traffic, the more advertisers will agree to pay you. However, cultivating the regular visitors that you will need in order to make a profit isn’t easy. As more and more blogs appear each day, having a great idea or a wonderful writing style is no longer enough to get attention. You need to be able to market your blog effectively.
Too many bloggers spend all of their time writing posts and almost no time marketing their project. To be certain, updating as often as you can is a great way to keep your blog high on blogrolls and high in blog search engines like technorati, and once your readers know that you update frequently they will return to your site on a regular basis. However, it does not matter how often you update if nobody is reading your page, so dont skimp on the time that you spend drawing visitors to your site.

To make your dreams of blogging for profit a reality, try decreasing your number of posts and using some of that time to draw new visitors by setting up link exchanges with other bloggers, making contacts in the blog community, and following other established modes of winning traffic.

People have been keeping journals and diaries for centuries.  Without them, much of the world’s wisdom would have already been lost.  Why?  Because some of the greatest writers of all time have used their journals to jot down their thoughts and ideas each day.  They would then refer to these daily notes while they were writing their books and articles.

Without their diaries, Sam Clemens (aka: Mark Twain), Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, George Shaw, Bertrand Russell, Oscar Wilde and thousands more, wouldn’t have been able to produce the masterpieces that they did.

Decades later, the internet has changed the way that people keep diaries.

What has advent of the internet done to change this?  Well, in a nutshell, it has transformed what was once a very personal pastime, into a very public affair. Instead of keeping your innermost thoughts private, people can now share their thoughts, feelings and ideas with the whole world, at least, with anybody who has an internet connection and a computer with a web browser.

So what has all this to do with making money on the internet?  Well, a “blog” is a shortened term for “Web Log” and “blogging” has come to mean nothing more than simply making a log of your daily thoughts, feelings and ideas available to anyone who wants to read them.  In other words, an online journal.

Several years ago, around about 1997, somebody (there is some debate as to whom the very first blogger was, but the names often mentioned are Justin Hall, Jorn Barger and Dave Winer) created some simple software that made it possible to write down their daily thoughts and publish them to the internet.  Since then, millions of people have chosen to do likewise and the number is growing by the day.

The number of people blogging has grown rapidly for several reasons, not least of which is the software itself (otherwise known as a “blogging platform”), which has developed to such a degree that it is not only easy to set-up your own website as a blog, but it is also a perfect way to both FIND and COMMUNICATE with LIKE MINDED people.  The old way of journaling simply couldn’t do this.

So, instead of relying on your location on the planet, and fate in general, you can now actively find people who are interested in the same things that YOU are interested in, regardless of location, age, race etc.  Language IS still an issue, but with online translation tools, even that is becoming less of a problem each year.

The software currently available has many features, allowing a blog reader to search older articles (called “posts”) by name, keyword, category or date, and it also allows for readers to COMMENT on each post, so it makes for a very INTERACTIVE environment, often attracting many people from all over the world who have something to say about what the author has written.

Blogs are often simply personal thoughts, written by people who would like to hear from other people who have similar ideas.  They can be little more than a history of a family growing up, or of vacations that people have had.  They can be about literally anything in which humans are involved, from pet care to astro-physics.

What are people doing to make money with blogs?  Typically, they choose a subject that they are interested in (or preferably PASSIONATE about) and in which they are quite knowledgeable, and they start writing about it.  Businesses, ALL business, are little more than people offering products or services (or both) to other people.  When the offer is accepted, trades are made; it’s that simple.

But what could be sold via a blog?  The honest answer is “pretty much anything”. How is this done?  Typically, a good blog demonstrates the author’s expertise in a certain area.  It could be horse-grooming or computer-science; whatever it is, when people find your blog, they are almost always looking to GET something.

To actually make money blogging, you have to offer the same thing; products or services. You can create your own product such as a book that you can offer your readers, but, just like a retailer with a shop, you can also offer OTHER PEOPLE’S PRODUCTS.  To find products related to your blog, which your readers might  be interested in buying, you can go to Clickbank.com or Commission Junction.

Here you’ll find an array of both digital (videos, pdf books, audio files etc.) and physical products that you can promote for a very high percentage commission.  If your reader clicks a link on your blog (which directs them to the product owner’s sales page)and then proceeds to buy the product, you make money. In the case of Clickbank, they will mail you a check every two weeks, if you have made sales.

You can even display Amazon.com books and sell those if you wish, though the percentage commission is much lower, often just a few pennies on the dollar.

Always remember that your readers typically want a SOLUTION; that is, they are looking for a solution to a problem that they currently have.  It could be a medical condition they have, or it could be instructions on how to repair a vehicle.  Whatever it is, they want to get something, and often it is little more than information; though very SPECIFIC information that will help them solve their problem.

Most new bloggers expect people to find their website quickly and start commenting immediately, but alas, this is not how it works.  You could write a three hundred word post each day for months and not get more than a handful of visitors to our blog.  Why is this?  There are lots of reasons, but two come readily to mind.

Firstly, if you don’t really understand the subject you are writing about, you will not be using the right terminology (otherwise known as “jargon”) in your posts, so the search engines like Google, Bing and Yahoo will not find your posts. That’s not exactly true; the search-engines WILL find your posts, but they will index them in such a way that people SEARCHING for solutions to their problems will be typing different keywords into the search-engines, so they will find OTHER people’s websites instead of yours.

Secondly, if you rely totally on the likes of Google and Yahoo to find and index your blog, you are missing out on potentially thousand of readers, because there are MANY more things you can do to drive visitors (otherwise known as TRAFFIC in the internet marketing world) TO your site.  So, instead of being passive and hoping for the best, you actively go out and look for potential readers.  This article is a good example of just ONE way that you might get people to visit your blog.

Blogging can be a very satisfying thing to do in its own right, without making a living from doing it.  But if you can do something you really enjoy, AND can make money doing it, you’ve reached a point in your life that only the elite few ever achieve.

Do you find yourself wondering if people are actually making money blogging? And if they are, how can you profit from blogging too?

For years I’ve searched the web for ways to make a profit. After relentless months of floundering around on the Internet and making absolutely no money, I finally paid an experienced blogger to coach me. A short month later I started profiting on the web. The coaching made all the difference! I’ll tell you the three surefire ways he taught me to make money blogging. If you will put these proven methods into action, you can make money too. It can change your life!

For the newbie or beginner, let’s first discuss the concept of blogging. To understand what blogging is you need to understand where the word blog came from. A blog is an abbreviation of the word weblog. A weblog is a type of website you can think of as an online diary. The owner of the blog regularly adds content to the website by posting comments online just as a person would regularly write in their diary. The content of the blog may or may not be of a personal nature. For our purposes, to make money of course, the blog would not be written from a personal viewpoint but from one of a business perspective. Blogs can contain text, links, images, videos, music, or any other kind of available digital media. The verb ‘blogging’ is simply the act of putting your comments onto the website, or blog. The entries are listed in reverse chronological order, meaning the newest comments are at the top of the page and you have to scroll down to see the older comments towards the bottom of the page. Visitors are allowed to interact with the blog by leaving comments or links on the same page as the content.

Now that you understand what blogging is, let me give you an example of a successful blogger …

Kyra lost 96 pounds over the last 8 months. Her success was due both to a popular diet program and to a popular exercise program. She kept a diary of her daily exercise routine, eating habits, and her weekly weight loss. Kyra has put up a blog on the Internet showcasing her triumph over her weight. She writes articles, reports, and weight loss tips highlighting the programs she attributes to her great success. Both the diet and exercise programs have an affiliate program, and she provides links to these programs on her blog. Kyra’s success has made her a very popular blogger and she has only been online for 3 months.

Both the diet program and the exercise program have a monthly fee of $28. Kyra’s affiliate programs pay her half the monthly fee for each month’s sales. On average, Kyra sells to 15 visitors on her site each week. Almost all the buyers purchase both the exercise and the diet plans. Kyra receives half the monthly fees, or $1680 per month.
This blogger could be you, and you could be on your way to changing your life!

For you to get started blogging there are 3 surefire ways to begin.

FIRST: Choose a broad topic for your blog. The topic should be something you have some knowledge of, or something you have an interest in. The broader the topic the better so you can later promote more affiliate products on the same blog. Include your topic in your domain name, or URL. For example, if you wanted to start a blog on body building, a good domain name would be Body Building Times.

SECOND: Make sure there is an affiliate program you would like to promote related to your topic that has lots of promotional materials available. You can incorporate the ready-made affiliate materials into your blog. An affiliate program that offers a monthly subscription is a MUST because it will increase your profits through a recurring monthly fee. Wouldn’t it be better to receive a payment every month from a customer than to receive a one-time payment from that same customer?

THIRD: Build a list. A list is a collection of email addresses used to promote your affiliate programs. Build your list by writing a free weekly newsletter and offering an opt-in on your blog. Promote your blog by writing articles and submitting them to article directories. Be sure to refer your readers back to your blog. PROMOTE! PROMOTE! PROMOTE!

Now that you know what blogging is, and you know there is income potential, I hope you won’t delay in publishing your own blog. I have given you 3 surefire ways to make money by blogging. Choose a broad topic and a matching domain name. Become an affiliate and be sure to select a great affiliate program with a monthly subscription option and many promotional materials. Most importantly build a list by writing a free newsletter and offering an opt-in.

So many people could increase their income and could be on their way to a better life if they would only put a little sweat equity into blog. With the right coach I finally found my way in the blogging world and it has made a big difference in my life. I wish you luck on your future online endeavors.

If you are thinking of setting up a make money blog that reviews ways to make money online or lists methods of making money blogging, don’t – especially if you are relatively new to making money online.

Don’t get me wrong. It is not impossible to make money with a blog – just very much harder to do so in the money niche.

Why is that so?

Firstly there is just too much competition. Unless you are a prolific writer who can research stellar articles other bloggers in your niche cannot match up to, it will be nearly impossible to get a slice of the money pie.

Secondly, readers of make money blogs are internet savvy people who are blind to ads and won’t click on your affiliate link unless you are a top blogger with thousands of regular readers.

Most importantly, getting to the front of search engine results page will be an uphill climb. When your article appears on the first page of SERPs, it means an explosion of traffic as more people are exposed to your article. As a result, your blog becomes more well known.

There are over 50 million pages on making money online. What are your chances of overtaking these millions of pages, many of which are highly popular sites with tens of thousands of daily readers?

But that’s not to say you can’t make money blogging. Just choose a less competitive niche. If you take a look at the top money making niches, you can see there are many other possibilities you can tap into.

The most profitable niches at the moment are:

Making Money Online
Weight Loss
Quit Smoking
Credit and Credit Repair
Weight Gain and Building Muscles
Running a Home Business
Training Pets
Learning Techniques such as Memory, Speed Reading
Learning a Language
Relationships and Divorce
Gaming eg. Runescape, World of Warcraft

These will be very competitive since they are high earners. How about going even more niche? For example, instead of focussing on training pets, go more specific – training dogs. Or even more specific – training chihuahuas.

How do you know if there is a market for this niche? Use a free online keyword service such as Wordtracker or AdWords Keyword Tool and see how many searches a month there are for related keywords.

Then do a search in Google and see if there are any ads on the side of the search results. If there are many advertisers, then there must be a market.

Sometimes, the most mundane topic can be the top money earner. Guess what are some of the top paying keywords? They are loan consolidation, insurance quotes and structured settlement.

Hardly exciting topics to write about. In any case, these will be too competitive unless you manage to discover a sub niche of these profitable topics.

The ideal scenario would be to find a niche topic that you are passionate about so that writing won’t become a chore. However, you will find that it may not be possible.

So ultimately, you have to decide what you want from your blog. Is it merely an online journal to document a hobby or do you want to make money with it?

This is my first quest when I started blogging about a year ago. Can I really make money by just ramblings about anything? I’ve got so many question circling around my head. Questions like how did AdSense works, is Yahoo part of Google, are those John Chow’s cars? What the hell is blog? How to setup a blog? These are questions that came out from my head when I looked at John Chow’s monthly income report.

This is a question that most of the people wanted to know about. Let’s get back to the question, is it possible to make money blogging? Well, the answers are yes and no, and it is all depend on what your blog is all about. If you want to make big money blogging, you’ve got to be different in all aspects. More specifically:

Blog aspects..

Good SEO Optimized (On & Off Page)

A lot of subscribers

Highly Page Viewed

Huge UV

Content is King

Self aspects..

Patient (HUGE)

Braveness

Interest

Creativity

These are essential and compulsory things-to-have to attract advertisers to buy your services which include space for advertising, pay per post or link selling. I made myself some money by blogging, you can check them here: September Online Income, the highest so far is: April Online Income

Sometimes, “self aspects” is much more important than SEO. John Chow’s blog is not “SEO’ly” good (though he managed to land on the first page of Google SERP way back ago). He ranked on the 5th page for “make money online” key phrase, but still he managed to get thousands of subscribers (mine is on the 18th which is technically more worse) from his braveness to be different. For those who didn’t know what Chow did, you can always check out his blog.

Being not so good in SERP doesn’t mean that he can’t get a lot of money from blogging. Instead he managed to get approximately 30,000USD monthly for just sitting in front of his computer typing things that he prefer. And this result does not come in a night, he started his blog in December 2005. With simple calculation that is 3 long years time. I mention John Chow a lot in this post, he inspired me and I learned a lot from his blog.

So, if you ask me, is it possible to make money blogging? It depends on how much longer can you wait
